Peat banks at summit of Darnbrook Fell

Uploader's Comments

The summit of Darnbrook Fell is a mass of peat banks with areas of bog between. The trig point stands on a concrete plinth; it's remarkable to think that assuming the pillar base was once flush with the ground so much peat has been eroded and not just at the pillar location but presumably widley across the fell top.
