Dalraddy Moor, Highland

Pine forest, Muir of Alvie

Uploader's Comments

Forest south of the old A9, this was mapped as dense young trees in 1975 by orienteers. In those days races would actually cross the A9 between two parts of the forest. Alvie was used as a warm up day for the 1976 World Championships, even though the map was a different style and scale to the actual competition areas. (Darnaway and Culbin).
