The slope is on the ridge rising from the vicinity of Llanberis, ultimately to the summit of Snowdon; a minor top - Derlwyn - lies just above the crag at the top right of the image. Part of Llyn Peris can be seen at the left side of the photograph with the immense quarry workings at and about Dinorwig, above.
