This photograph shows a view of a public footpath into the woods near May Beck. Just after entering the wood, the footpath splits into two: the left-hand branch leads to Foss Farm and the right-hand branch goes to Midge Hall and the Falling Foss waterfall. The picture was taken looking in a north-north-westerly direction towards Midge Hall.
