Sullom Voe Terminal was very carefully situated and it is difficult to see from any distance in most parts of Shetland, but it can be seen from the road through west Yell. Uynarey is the island in the foreground, and what is left of Orka Voe is the inlet in front of the storage tanks - most of the voe was infilled with peat removed to construct the terminal.
