The signal box and waiting room have been converted into a houses. There are also a number of former railway workers houses very close by. Trains to the left followed the Border Counties Railway through Kielder to Riccarton Junction and then Hawick and Edinburgh. Trains to the right followed the Wannie Line (Wansbeck Railway) to West Woodburn, Scots Gap and either Morpeth or Rothbury.
