There are several right of way footpaths across the golf course, but they are sparsely waymarked, and the extent of tree plantation on the course coupled with sparse detail on the 1:25000 map means that one has to navigate by dead reckoning. Here at least the marker post had a waymark to reassure me that I was on the right line. The path then exits the golf course by a bridge over the stream just to the left of the pond.
