33KV power line

Uploader's Comments

A view of a lightweight pylon carrying a 33Kv power line between Dolgarrog and Colwyn Bay. Originally built in the mid 1950's to boost additional power to the newly erected 132Kv line off the National Grid from the hydro electric power station at Dolgarrog to the town of Colwyn Bay. Most of the power line can be seen on pylons but some in the Mochdre area near Colwyn Bay have been replaced by poles in recent years.
