Between the villages of Dol-y-Bont and Talybont the Leri flows through a deeply incised valley, which for the most part is heavily wooded. The walk along the eastern side, from Henllys farm to Talybont is particularly pleasant whatever the time of year. The ruined farm buildings of Fron-goch are visible above the caravan park.
