Looking towards Bakestall. In retrospect it was a serious mistake to ascend Cockup via a rough pathless route in the searing heat of a July heatwave. Even with a late afternoon start the trip was pronounced a 'Cockup' as we battled heatstroke and dehydration from start to finish.
