Cocked Hat Wood, East Dorset

The road to Braydon Pond

Uploader's Comments

A minor road which further on passes Braydon Pond. To the left (out of the picture, but advertised To Let) are Bick Farm Cottages. A concrete stand for milk churns remains from the days when churns were left beside the road for the dairy lorry to pick up. Behind this is the signpost for the public bridleway to Nineteen Acre Wood. In the distance, partly hidden behind a tree is a water tower.
