I attempted this rough track on my round-Britain cycle ride as a means of avoiding the busy - and much longer route - along the A816. It was a risky strategy, not knowing the condition of the track. Fortunately the weather was kind, but some of the steeper sections of the track were only just achieved by pushing the bike over loose stones. This section was easier; the really steep part came later when climbing the pass alongside the distant D
