Church Pond, Hampshire

Church of the Holy Rood

Uploader's Comments

This 12th century church had a peal of eight bells installed in 2009, each named for historical figures with East Hampshire connections. The weightiest commemorates a famous naturalist curate of the nearby parish of Selborne, Rev. Gilbert White (1720-1793). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holybourne
