Carreg Pen-las, Pembrokeshire

Slap and trickle

Uploader's Comments

Immediately to the west of Aberbach lies this little bay which appears to have no name, possibly because it has no easy access from landward. A huge cone of rock looms over a crescent of clear water which washes over the silvery quartz shingle. Something about the conformation of the bay or the composition of the beach seems to produce an especially hypnotic sound as the surf slides over the pebbles.
