Beach south of Rubha na Mochthrath

Uploader's Comments

Rubha na Mochthrath is a small headland of bare wave-scoured granite which sticks out some 50m from the coast along the northwest side of Loch Linnhe. To the south, this small shingle beach offers and easy landing for sea kayaks and probably camping space behind. As the beach faces southwest into the prevailing winds, it has caught a lot of driftwood - always welcomed by sea kayakers who would prefer a fire of old pallets rather than take downed wood from the oak woodland ecosystem.
