View NW near Crossway on the main road between Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells in the valley of the Afon Ithon. The ex-LNWR Central Wales line would be crossing right-left close by, but is not readily discernible. In the distance would be Newbridge-on-Wye, with Drum Ddu (1,761 ft.) on its left flank, Dol-y-fan (1,248 ft.) on the right - in Breconshire and Radnorshire respectively.
