Moorland slope descending from Carriers' Way

Uploader's Comments

The Carriers' Way is an old transport route used by eighteenth century pony trains carrying processed lead but it's reckoned the route could date back well before that. The view here is from the Way over mainly heather moorland towards the valley river which is Devil's Water.
