Brownberry, County Durham

End of the track, Brownberry plantation

Uploader's Comments

This is the turning circle at the end of the hardcored track in the forest on Brownberry, a little to the west of where the OS 1:50000 map shows it ending. The track occupies a wide gap in the trees, which, at this point, are spruce on both sides. The gap (and indeed the track surface itself) is being invaded by volunteer spruce seedlings. From this point, three rides lead off rather boggily to the forest edges northeast, south and east.
