Close to the Three Foot Lane track/byway, this fawn was walking directly towards me, seemingly oblivious to my presence until, at the last moment as I moved the camera it spotted me and bolted. There was no sign of its mother nearby and I feared a tragic Bambi-style scenario. However, I did later see an adult deer some distance away, so hopefully this was its mother and a reunion occurred.
