For Norman Macdonald, William Macdonald, Jonathon Macleod, Murdo Mackenzie, Duncan Nicholson, John Douglas, and Donald Macdonald who failed to return from the 1914-1918 war. For such a sparsely populated part of the island this was quite a large percentage loss. It is interesting to note the old regiments; The Cameron Highlanders, the Highland Light Infantry, The Seaforth Highlanders, and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. [[2922930]]
