Taken in July 1984, this photo shows the site of West Meon Station on the railway line between Alton and Fareham. It was known as the Meon Valley Railway, which opened on the 1st June 1903 and closed to passengers on the 7th February 1955. The postcode of the former station in Station Road is GU32 1JQ.
