Grade II listed drinking fountain beside Borrage Terrace on Harrogate Road. [[2059070]] The inscription on the pediment reads, "THIS WELL WAS GIVEN FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC BY W RICHARDSON ESQ MD 1758". Limited research suggests that William Richardson was born in 1709 and died in 1783. [[1347084]]
