This large rock, about the size of a small van, lies just south of the Cheese Stones. The western face is peppered with holes (as is a slightly smaller rock immediately adjacent). These are undoubtedly bullet holes from WW2 when a lot of military training was carried in the area. They were probably created by machine gun fire from Tidy Brown Hill about 1/2 mile to the west.
