The small millstone grit summit of 'Foxholes Crag' at the northeast corner of Bowland Forest. Just beyond this Crag looking west to the right of the photo one can see a small ruined shelter that must have given comfort to shepherd and shooter alike - there is a small broken fireplace inside! On the skyline in SD7561 is the outcrop of millstone grit known as 'Resting Stone' these rocks also can give a weary traveler good shelter particularly from a biting cold north wind.
