Having paddled from Lismore to Mull and back during the day, it was a little late to decide to move camp, but a poor forecast for the next day, and the tide in our favour this evening were the main factors causing us to set off up the Lynn of Lorn well after 4 p.m. with temperatures dropping and a gusty wind starting soon after we got back on the water. We would have been in more shelter if we'd stayed closer to the shore (you can see the sea is smoother there), but as our destination was the mainland shore, we had to cross the Lynn eventually. This view was taken before losing touch with the coast entirely.
