Bayfield Lake, Norfolk

Bayfield St Margaret's ruined church

Uploader's Comments

There is not much I can say about the church. By the end of the 18th century it had reached the end of its usefulness and while the 19th century owner of Bayfield Hall, Sir Alfred Jodrell, ensured the continued existence of near-by Glandford and Saxlingham it would seem he preferred a ruin rather than a living church in his front garden.
