A swathe of oak and other broadleaf trees under a Tree Preservation Order have been felled on the outskirts of Brixham. According to the leaseholder of the land the detection of honey fungus in some(?) of the trees made the destruction of all of them necessary. It is not known if the Local Council approved this action. Also see [[[3941142]]], [[[3941130]]] and other postings with this title.
