Bannisdale Beck, Cumbria

Point 528m, The Forest

Uploader's Comments

A few stones have been found in this largely grassy and boggy 'forest' to mark the highest point. Looking towards the more typically 'Lakeland' fells above Kentmere including the prominent cone of Ill Bell. At this height a light dusting of snow survives in the shade of rocks and tussocks.
