Ardtornish Point with light

Uploader's Comments

The light flashes twice every ten seconds and the beam colour is white (if you are somewhere safe) green if you are close to the Morvern shore, and red in the direction of skerries in the middle of the Sound of Mull. Where not obstructed by the terrain, the visibility of the light is 8.5 nautical miles. On this Easter Saturday, it was a dull overcast, but visibility was adequate and the light was neither lit nor needed to find our way up the Sound towards a welcome coffee stop at Lochaline.
