We had almost 100% cloud cover here in NW Skye this morning, but the clouds thinned enough occasionally to get a glimpse of the eclipse, seen here as the moon neared the greatest coverage of the sun as seen from this location. It became dark enough for car drivers to put on their headlights, and the local blackbirds started singing their evening song.
