As other images suggest, this lays claim to being the oldest public house in Shropshire; that in itself is arguable as there are others with valid claims, but it certainly has at its core a 17th century timber frame, and was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101367873-three-horseshoes-inn-alveley#.WiwzC9SLTGg in 1974.
