The Achmore Stone Circle is about 12km ESE of the well-known standing stones at Callanish, and so are ignored by most visitors (and not even identified on the Ordnance Survey maps). And indeed, in comparison to Callanish the remains are not very impressive - but even so, the circle is worth the few minutes needed to pay it a visit.
