This is one of my favourite bits of rock! You can really see geology in action here. It's difficult to look at it without imagining the base rock being torn apart and carried along by the rock intruded into it. Foinaven is visible over the top of near ridge. From the photographer's position to the pale rocks on the first skyline is approximately 30-40 metres.
