View NW beside Allt Dubhaig stream (headwater of the River Garry) on the left, the A9 road being parallel to the ex-Highland Railway to the right. Ahead are the mountains of the Forest of Druimochter - Marcaorach (3,835 ft.) etc. Note that my train was steam-hauled, and would remain so for another 10-12 years.
