Right of centre is the climb up to Sgurr na Ciche, to the left Loch Nevis. The outstanding feature, however, is the wall of Knoydart which can just be seen crossing the slope on the extreme right of the image. Can you imagine the time and effort needed to build this wall along possibly the roughest mainland ridge beyond Aonach Eagach? Labour was cheap then. Out of 284 Munros, it rained on only 38 summits - this was one of them!
