With the aid of Millennium Forest for Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage and Skye and Lochalsh Enterprise funding, large areas of non-native conifers are being removed. Native woodland regeneration is being encouraged. This track leads to a small car park and a footpath continues to the deserted and ruined township of Leitir Fura in grid square [[NG7315]].
