The Candover Brook is a tributary of the River Itchen, which it joins near the town of New Alresford. The stream rises from springs just to the south of the village of Preston Candover and flows for less than one mile. This leat may be associated with Abbotstone Mill but the main course of the brook is hidden by trees in this vicinity.
