View northward, towards the NW suburbs on the ex-Great Central main line from Marylebone to Leicester and Sheffield. The train is probably from Princes Risborough and High Wycombe and is headed by BR Standard 2-6-4T No. 80137. (This might have been a good spot for watching trains, with the main lines from Euston underneath, but there was nowhere to sit).
