The Eddleston Water Project is a joint effort by several agencies to restore the Eddleston Water to its original course and replant sections of its banks with suitable trees as a natural flood prevention scheme. Here conifer plantations have been felled and enclosed with new fencing prior to further work. The A703 Leadburn to Peebles road is alongside.
