A painted rock on the foreshore has been daubed with back paint, arguably worsening the visual 'offence'. Across the estuary at Kirn, a similar fate has befallen the historically significant 'Jim Crow' stone in the past, see http://www.secretscotland.org.uk/index.php/Secrets/TheJimCrow
