Descending Ridge of Stangend Rigg

Uploader's Comments

Stangend Rigg is a broad moorland ridge, part of the watershed between Weardale and Allendale. The B6295 crosses (out of sight) between the two valleys in the obvious dip in the mid-distance beyond which the moorland rises again to Burtree Fell.
