This ruined mansion on the banks of the Dwyfach, like nearby Plas Talhenbont/Plas Hen, were former homes of the Ellis-Nanney Family. While Plas Talhenbont remains in fine condition, Gwynfryn Plas is now a sad and dilapidated structure which is reputed to be badly haunted.
