As the bridleway rises out of Park Wood there is a level area of good pasture before entering the unimproved moor of Talebrigg Hill. There is a good view over the Lune Valley to Middleton Fell with the corrie of Calf Foot http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2314214 prominent.
