This GR4 Tornado was photographed against the backdrop of a house at Mountbengerburn from Eldinhope Knowe on a frosty morning in the Yarrow Valley. The MOD allocates certain time slots during low flying periods when military jets can fly down to 100 feet and this one is certainly no more than this height. I had three Hawks, three Tornados and one Tucano on my plane spotting hill day but this was the only really low flying jet.
