Lord's Lot, Cumbria

North west from the top of Tarn Hill

Uploader's Comments

Tarn Hill is an isolated area of open CRoW access land without any public rights of way. This begs the question 'How do you get to it?'. I approached from the north via Lord's Lot, the rough area of bracken and scrub beyond the improved sheep pastures. Just about visible beyond the Gilpin Valley are the high Lakeland fells where such access issues are long since resolved.
