Signs on the doors of this half-buried building indicate that it's the Corrour Hydro Sub-station, but there were two 'surge-pipe' valves in the verge of the track just behind me which were clearly full of rushing water, and which suggests that the hydro generators may also be located in here. That is supported by the title and description attached to [[4903288]], which appears to be much the same location.
