It must be a daunting proposition at times of high water flow to ford this burn. There is a cairn on each bank linking a reasonable route to move from stone to stone. In the foreground of this image is the pointer on the east bank and it is the more noticeable of the two. Good luck! I found a walking stick useful to keep a balance between some of the more widely separated stones.
