Iden Lane is a continuation of Nettlepole Lane. Both are old green lanes following the southern side of the valley of the Great Stour. Here Iden lane passes Iden Farm Cottage, beyond which it becomes a rough track and descends into a small valley from which a spring flows into the Great Stour.
