Hunslet Moor footbridge

Uploader's Comments

A cable-stayed footbridge, erected in 2008 on across the M621 to link the two parts of Hunslet that had been separated by the construction of the motorway. The deck is 103m long, supported from a single 39m tall A-frame tower by 14 steel cables. A total of 259 tonnes of steel was used and a 200t capacity mobile crane was used in the construction (source: http://www.steelconstruction.info/Hunslett_Moor_Footbridge ).
