Just off Fauld Road stand more strange wooden structures [[[5432718]]]. They are on a rough track down the hill and look for all the world like a mini ski-jump for mountain bikes. The pale-coloured objects on the right-hand ramp are giant cushions - possibly to absorb the impact of anyone who gets their timing wrong! If this is so then it is indisputable proof that mountain bikers are both brave and crazy!
